Another historical monument in Soltaniyeh that has survived from the Ilkhanid era is a building belonging to the mystic and poet of the 8th century AH, Maulana Hassan Kashi.

Arya's Legacy: Mulla Hassan Kashani was a Shiite poet and writer who was born in Amol in 648 AH with origins dating back to Kashan. Due to his high devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the pure Imams, he never wrote a poem in praise of kings and courtiers, and all his writings were in praise of the Infallibles (PBUH).

If you look from the second-floor veranda of the famous Soltaniyeh Dome to the south of the city, you will see the octagonal tomb of Mulla Hassan Kashi with a turquoise dome in the middle of a vast plain.

Mulla Hassan Kashi passed away during the reign of Al-Jaytu in the city of Soltaniyeh, and a beautiful tomb was built for him by the king's order. The exterior of the building is octagonal and features four porches, but the interior is quadrangular or square. Several corridors connect the porches with great elegance. There are porches on the upper floor that are connected to the large porches by a staircase. The dome of this building, like the Soltaniyeh Dome, is also made of two walls, or in those days, two shells. The most beautiful part of this building is the dome, which is decorated with the names of the gods and beautiful calligraphy. The turquoise tile work of this dome is also very eye-catching and artistic. The interior of the dome is also decorated with common Iranian arts such as mogharnas, stucco, and brickwork.

The outer circles are also decorated with decorative arches, and verses from the Quran and the holy names are decorated with beautiful turquoise tiles. However, this building has been renovated and expanded many times. The original core of the building was built during the reign of Al-Jayto, but during the reign of Shah Tahmasp Safavi, the building was seriously renovated.

During the reign of Fath Ali Shah Qajar, the famous governor of Zanjan, Abdullah Dara Mirza, renovated the building and added parts to it. Remains of the caretaker and guard rooms still remain in this beautiful building.
