Milad Tower is visible from almost everywhere in Tehran due to its great height and distinctive appearance. The lobby of Milad Tower consists of six floors. The first three floors contain international restaurants, a theater, a commercial unit, and an exhibition hall. The lobby is the place for visitors to the tower. The Museum of Celebrities is located on the fifth floor of the tower and includes statues and sculptures made of important literary and political figures and distinguished Iranian scientists. The statues are made of silicone. The platform of the tower is on the seventh floor. In this environment, you can watch Tehran from above, and on this floor you can see cultural attractions such as the Municipality Museum and artists who are painting. The highest floor of the tower is the Sky Dome, which has a glass roof. Its walls are designed in octagonal shapes, and all telecommunications are on the dome of the tower.Milad Tower in Tehran is a multi-purpose building in the Milad complex, which is the tallest building built in Iran and is considered a new symbol of Tehran and Iran. It can be seen from everywhere in Tehran and is one of the indicators of identifying the location in the city. To enter the complex, you must enter from the tower's dedicated road and park your car in the covered and open parking lots. There are two options for buying a ticket to visit the tower. Visiting the open platform or a full visit ticket that includes visiting the tower's skyline, museums, and the open viewing platform. Which is more expensive, you can buy tickets from the electronic counter, the regular ticket sales counter, or from the Milad Tower website itself or from discount sites. To reach the entrance and the elevator, you must follow a path. The beginning of the path is the playground where handicraft shops and special exhibitions are set up. You go up the escalator and go straight to the ground floor entrance of the tower to reach the elevator that is active. Each elevator has a person in charge who will guide you regarding the ticket you purchased. In order to be able to see outside when going up, you must be the last person to board and stand in front of the glass door of the cabin. The elevator is very fast and is not suitable for those with heart problems. If your ticket is for the open platform, you only have one stop, which opens into a circular hall with glass doors leading to the viewing platform. Inside the hall, there is a cafe, models of telecommunication towers around the world, and handicraft exhibitions and toilets. The open viewing platform is also surrounded by strong and high fences and there are cameras for watching the city that you can use for free. If the weather is good, you will see a beautiful view of Tehran and it is introduced with signboards to see important places. Next, there is the tower's skyline on the top floor, which has an open 360-degree view of the sky, and the Municipality Museum on the lower floor, which displays statues of Iranian celebrities. If you are not interested in museums, the first platform is enough to see. The tower has a cafe and a revolving restaurant for public use, and a conference hall and a restaurant exclusively for official guests, which cannot be visited.In April 2019, during our trip to Tehran, we finally visited this new symbol of Tehran. Due to the Nowruz programs that were everywhere in the city, there were also good and fun programs held at Milad Tower. Since it was our first visit to this tower, we bought a full ticket for 140 tomans per person and headed towards the entrance. The visit consisted of 4 sections. The open platform, the closed platform, the Municipality Museum, the Museum of Celebrities, and the Sky Dome, which is a 13-meter-high glass dome decorated with artwork that shows the evolution of Iranian culture and art. It showcases concepts such as love, life, justice, struggle, and morning. Seeing them for the first time is not without its benefits, but the exciting part of the story is the open viewing platform, where if we are lucky and it is a sunny day, we can watch different parts of the city. The price of the open platform ticket is 12 tomans. And you can buy just the open platform ticket alone.
