This historical building contains a wealth of artistic taste and wealth that belonged to Mr. Mohsen Moghadam and his wife of Bulgarian descent. It is strange that even though there are documents inside the museum that emphasize the birthplace of Ms. Salma (Bulgaria), everyone still mistakenly calls her of French descent. We visited this beautiful building on Friday and, apart from the library and the bathhouse, the other parts were open to the public, such as the pond, the summer mansion, the interior, the courtyard and the pool, the medieval mansion, etc. All parts were very beautiful and various types of ancient art from different periods of Iranian people were visible there, such as tiles from the Ilkhanid era, tiles from the Pahlavi era, tombs that were found from various excavations in different parts of Iran, etc. The entrance ticket cost 30 thousand Tomans and unfortunately, they had allowed the construction of tall, multi-story buildings around this beautiful building and destroyed its facade. There is also a cafe inside the courtyard of this museum, which is a good place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Moghadam House and Museum is a historical building from the late Qajar period in Tehran, which was the residential home of the Ehtesab-ol-Molk and Moghadam families and is now a museum of historical objects. Ehtesab-ol-Molk had two sons, Hassan and Mohsen, who went to Europe to continue their education. Hassan was active in literary, political and social activities and died young. The younger brother, Mohsen, returned to his homeland after completing his studies in painting, art history and archaeology and lived with his French wife, Solma, in his father's house - the current location of the Moghadam Museum.
I expected much more from the Moghadam Museum.
Maybe I didn't choose the right season to visit.
Anyway, it was beautiful in winter, but I should definitely visit it in summer.
This was the house of Mr. Moghadam and his wife, Ms. Salma, who were married in 1936, and it had very beautiful architecture.
The entrance fee to this museum was 6,000 Tomans, and you have to leave your bags in the locker upon entering.
This garden is divided into two parts.
The inside of some houses is visible, and their belongings are on display, like all their beautiful dishes and utensils, but some rooms have been turned into offices and you can't go inside.
Upstairs, very old underground dishes are kept that Mr. Moghadam himself bought and put on display.
He designed the symbol of Tehran University and the first uniform for university professors, and he was a very good painter.
The bathroom of this mansion is very beautiful, the entire bathroom is made of elephant ears and seashells up to the ceiling.
It had very beautiful flower arrangements.
There is a cafe in the courtyard of the mansion.
Moghadam Museum is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful museums in Tehran. This museum is one of the luxurious houses of the Qajar era, belonging to one of the courtiers. It was donated to the University of Tehran by one of his sons, who was interested in art and history, and today it has become a beautiful museum that, in addition to the house itself, which is very impressive, many paintings, photographs, and old objects are also exhibited there.
